Designed by Moser's Creative Director Jan Plecháč, the Magnus vase brings a subtle touch of brutalism to traditional Bohemian glassmaking. It is blown into a pear-wood mold and made using a special underlay technique: honey-toned topaz meets a gradually fading blue, and where the two layers meet, a third yellow-green shade appears. This bold play with color follows in the footsteps of Leo Moser, whose experiments a century ago gave rise to Moser's signature hues. Hand-blown from lead-free crystal and hand-cut, each Magnus vase is an original with its own color story.

Moser

Moser is a Czech house of prestigious crystal, its name synonymous with masterful handcraft since 1857. Founded by engraver and entrepreneur Ludwig Moser in Karlovy Vary, the glassworks still produces every piece entirely by hand — a single vase can pass through the hands of more than 40 master glassmakers. Since 1893, Moser has worked exclusively in lead-free crystal, a material that leaves little room for error, yet rewards mastery with pieces of exceptional clarity, brilliance, and hardness. As distinctive as the craftsmanship is Moser's palette — signature hues whose formulas the glassworks has guarded for generations.
